Cast Member Grabbed at Disney’s Coronado Springs After Domestic Dispute Escalates

🚨 CAST MEMBER BATTERY AT DISNEY RESORT A guest was arrested at Coronado Springs after allegedly grabbing a Cast Member’s wrist during a heated confrontation tied to a domestic dispute.

A late-night disturbance at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort resulted in an arrest after a situation involving a domestic dispute escalated into physical contact with a Cast Member.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the resort around 11:45 PM on April 19, 2026, in reference to a reported battery involving a Cast Member in the parking lot area.

What Happened

The incident began when a Cast Member was assisting a woman, by walking her to her vehicle following a domestic dispute earlier in the day involving her husband, Danilo.

While escorting her, the Cast Member reportedly observed Danilo lying in front of Ashley’s car. When Ashley approached, Danilo allegedly became verbally aggressive toward her.

Concerned for her safety, the Cast Member stepped in between the two.

At that point, the situation escalated.

According to the report, Danilo allegedly grabbed the Cast Member’s wrist and refused to let go, even after being told to release it. The Cast Member ultimately pushed him away to break free.

Deputies noted visible redness on the Cast Member’s wrist, consistent with the reported contact.

Witness Statements & Evidence

  • Ashley confirmed that Danilo had been lying in front of her car and became verbally aggressive.
  • She stated she was not physically touched, only involved in a verbal dispute.
  • The Cast Member declined medical treatment but stated they were willing to prosecute.
  • The victim invoked Marsy’s Law protections, limiting the release of identifying information.

Suspect Interaction

Deputies made contact with Danilo, who:

  • Showed signs of alcohol consumption
  • Admitted to drinking earlier in the day
  • Claimed he had been shoved during the altercation
  • Mentioned having video evidence, though it could not be verified due to a dead phone

He also refused to cooperate when deputies attempted to read Miranda rights.

Arrest Outcome

Danilo was taken into custody without further incident and transported to jail.

The incident was captured on Body Worn Camera (BWC).

⚠️ Safety Insight

This incident highlights a recurring pattern seen across Disney property:

👉 Domestic disputes don’t always stay private—and when they spill into public spaces, Cast Members often become the first line of safety intervention.

Disney Cast Members are not law enforcement, but they frequently step in to de-escalate situations and protect guests, sometimes putting themselves at risk.
