LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — A domestic violence incident at a Walt Disney World resort resulted in multiple felony charges after deputies say a woman was violently attacked inside a hotel room.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded on April 26, 2026, to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, French Quarter following reports of a disturbance.
When deputies arrived, the victim, was already outside the room with Disney security. She had been removed from the scene after a neighboring guest reported a noise complaint.
Allegations of Prolonged Assault
In a sworn statement, the victim told deputies that her fiancé, physically attacked her inside the hotel room after returning from a resort bar.
She reported being:
- Slapped multiple times
- Headbutted in the face
- Choked
- Forced to the ground, where her head was allegedly slammed
- Held under a bed while the suspect covered her mouth to prevent her from calling for help
The victim also stated the suspect forced her to change out of a bloodied shirt before answering the hotel room door when someone knocked following the complaint.
Deputies documented visible injuries, including a bloody nose and bruising around her eye. She was treated on scene by the local district fire department and later released.
Threats and Control Allegations
According to the report, the victim told deputies the suspect threatened to kill her and her family if she reported the incident.
Deputies also noted the suspect attempted to control the situation when contacted, claiming the victim was intoxicated and denying any physical violence.
Arrest and Charges
The suspect was taken into custody at the resort without incident and transported to the Orange County Jail.
He faces multiple charges, including:
