🚨 What Happened
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 9:32 PM to the Muddy Rivers Poolside Bar following reports of an intoxicated and aggressive guest.
When Disney security arrived prior to law enforcement, they found Jose physically holding another guest down in the bar area.
After the two were separated, the situation escalated.
- Jose allegedly began yelling and using vulgar language
- He then slapped another guest across the face
- Moments later, he attempted to strike a Disney security manager
Security staff were able to intervene before that second strike landed.
👊 Multiple Guests Targeted
The initial victim, Garrett, told deputies he had been slapped during the incident but declined to press charges.
Two additional guests, Barry and James, were also identified as having been slapped. Both confirmed what happened but also declined to pursue charges.
Despite multiple victims, no one involved chose to prosecute.

Due to his behavior, he was ultimately “Safe Booked”, a designation used for inmates requiring additional monitoring.
