Deputies responded to a crash at the Hollywood Studios parking lot where a white BMW M8 had struck a curb and tree before becoming disabled. The driver was found behind the wheel showing signs of intoxication, having glassy eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol. Curtis admitted he’d been “coming from the boardwalk after having a few beverages.” Deputies conducted a DUI investigation; after refusing a blood test at Dr. Phillips Hospital, Curtis was charged with DUI, Careless Driving, and DUI Refusal.
