Deputies were dispatched to Magic Kingdom at approximately 04:59 p.m. on December 11, 2025, following reports of a domestic battery near Guest Relations at City Hall. Upon arrival, deputies were escorted by Disney Security to the location, where one of the involved parties was being detained by off-duty law enforcement officers. The victim, identified as Brygitt, told deputies that she and her family were visiting from Connecticut. She stated that tensions had been building throughout the day between herself and her sister, Judith. The conflict intensified after Judith purchased a bubble toy for their youngest sister but not for Brygitt’s daughter. According to the report, the disagreement escalated into a heated verbal argument in public, with both sisters yelling and standing face to face near City Hall. During the confrontation, Judith allegedly struck Brygitt once on the nose with a cellphone. Brygitt then took the phone and threw it back, though it did not strike Judith. Their father intervened and separated the two. Deputies observed an abrasion on Brygitt’s nose. Fire District personnel had responded prior to law enforcement and offered medical treatment. Photographs of the injury were taken and submitted into evidence. Brygitt declined to provide a sworn written statement and stated she did not wish to prosecute. Deputies completed required domestic violence documentation and provided her with case information. Judith later agreed to speak with deputies after being advised of her Miranda rights. She acknowledged striking her sister with her cellphone during the argument and confirmed that Brygitt threw the phone back, striking her wrist. Deputies reported no visible injuries to Judith. Based on the investigation and admission, Judith was placed under arrest for Battery (Domestic Violence) and transported to the Orange County Booking and Receiving Center without incident. The Department of Children and Families was notified due to the involvement of minors. No further information was released at the time of the report.
