December 18, 2025
Bay Lake, FL - A late-night welfare call at Disney's Hollywood Studios escalated into a child-safety investigation after a woman was found unresponsive inside a parked vehicle with young children later confirmed to be involved.
According to Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched shortly before 2:00 a.m. on December 18, 2025, to the Mickey Parking Lot, Row 300, after Disney Security reported a female not waking inside a black Tesla. The vehicle was reported to be off, with hazard lights activated and only a cracked window for ventilation.
Security personnel advised that attempts to wake the woman, including honking the security vehicle’s horn, were unsuccessful. The woman was described as very pale and not responding to verbal contact, prompting Fire Rescue and multiple sheriff’s units to respond.
While on scene, deputies confirmed the woman eventually became responsive. However, as the investigation continued, deputies determined young children were in the vehicle, leading the Sheriff’s Office to upgrade the call classification from “Man Down” to “Child Neglect.”
Two children, later entered into records as ages 3 and 5, were formally documented as part of the incident. The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) was notified and responded. DCF investigators ultimately took custody-related action involving the children.
Deputies also issued a trespass. Follow-up law-enforcement activity extended beyond the theme park property, with units traveling to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, where additional investigative steps were taken. CAD notes further indicate the woman was either arrested or transported for medical evaluation following the incident.
The response involved multiple sheriff’s units, Fire Rescue, Disney Security, and DCF personnel, with activity continuing into the morning hours.
As of this writing, no arrest affidavit or full incident report has been publicly released for the Disney incident, but Call Disposition is Report w/ Arrest. All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Background: Prior Universal Orlando Arrest in February 2025
Public records show the same individual involved in the December 2025 Disney incident had been previously arrested earlier in 2025 following a disturbance at Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
According to an arrest report dated February 18, 2025, Orlando police responded to 6550 Adventure Way after Universal Security reported a disturbance involving the same female from the Disney incident. Security advised that she attempted to flee when they tried to make contact.
Officers also made contact with two adult males, who were with two small children (the same from the Disney World incident). The report describes one male as extremely intoxicated and acting erratically while being trespassed from the property.
During that response, officers were alerted to a female passed out in the parking lot. Officers reported locating the same female from Disney, asleep on the ground near a vehicle, with her face in the dirt. Upon waking her, officers documented signs of alcohol impairment, including slurred speech, bloodshot glassy eyes, and the odor of alcohol. Fire rescue was requested for a welfare check, though the report states she refused medical care.
After being informed she was trespassed and free to leave, the report states she became hostile and erratic, grabbed one of her children, and continued causing a disturbance. Officers removed the child from her care due to immediate safety concerns and arrested her.
She was arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting an officer with violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer. The report notes that body-worn cameras were active throughout the incident.
Why the Prior Arrest Matters
While the December 2025 Disney incident and the February 2025 Universal arrest occurred at different properties and involved different agencies, both incidents document similar concerns, including:
- An adult found unresponsive or incapacitated in a parking area
- Young children present during the incident
- Security-initiated law-enforcement response
- Escalation from a welfare concern into a child-safety investigation
That documented history provides relevant context as authorities continue reviewing the Disney incident, which records show involved DCF intervention and multiple linked case numbers.
